Awesome Weekend - Part 1

Last weekend, we decided to go full throttle, opening the weekend up with loading our river running gear on to an Alaska Railroad train, and have it drop us off at Spencer Glacier to begin our long river run! Sounds like we're celebrities or something, but actually, its something the "whistle stop" train does a lot. Very cool though. Click the image below to see the pictures from the trip. Of course it involved the Life Team (Ben, Lisa, Kevin, and Chris) and some of our other friends from up here -Corrine and Jenna. Pure awesomeness!

Another trip checked off the list...

Another trip was checked off of our "To Do in Alaska Before we Leave" list last weekend. We drove over to Whittier and rented some kayaks to explore Blackstone Bay. Its a beautiful bay that contains many glaciers including a couple that are tidewater glaciers.

Stay tuned for more amazing pictures from the trip! Gotta get going for now, but hopefully tomorrow!
